Just got back from the NRAS coordinators conference and wanted to pass on a message to everyone who attended.....

It was brilliant meeting you all, and not only have I come away with lots of new found knowledge, but also some new found friends BigGrin

Thank NRAS for the warm welcome, bringing us all together and sharing in future plans...... ThumpUp

Have to agree Helly, really great 2 days, with some wonderful folks.

BIG thanks to NRAS too,

You really couldn't have had a better bunch of people (like all the NRAS folks I've met over the years) Some wonderful ideas and new friends.

To those setting up new groups, good luck :D

Jo.

Hi everyone Smile

A really great time in Maidenhead and very much enjoyed. It was fab meeting so many new people and I look forward to chatting on the forum with those who join us!

It was good to hear everybody's ideas and thoughts about establishing a new group; Ray and I have lots to feedback at our meeting next week (not sure we'll fit it all in to an hour or so!). The talks were quite inspirational and NRAS staff so enthusiastic about what they do. The planning that went into the event was clearly very worthwhile so thank you Clare and all the staff involved. Hearing about the plans for the coming five years was quite something ... we will all have to rise to that challenge ThumpUp

Regards to all

P.S. Good to see you posting Kate BigGrin

Oh Lyn, that was so funny!! LOL I so wish I had taken a pic... I'm just glad it was you stuck there... we could at least pull you out (ok so with our hands it took about 4 of us lol) but if it had been me and my butt wedged in, we would have needed to take the seat out!

Actually, that was my party trick! Blink But I think I might work on a different one as it's not proving to popular with my knees! It's just as well there were enough people to pull me out!!!!Scared Scared

Crikey, can you imagine if we had to start dismantling your car on NRAS' car park? Hmm ... that might not have been such a bad publicity stunt! Where are the press when you could use them?!!!RollEyes

That would have been a sight! Mind you, it would have meant we could have called the fire brigade....

Damn, why didn't we do that! I wouldn't have minded having a convertible Laugh
